I just restored this AL21 type 2. This one was used in the DSB, Danish States Railways, as you can see on the mark near the handle.
This type 2 can be recognized by it has 3-legs but no air-release screw on the tank. It is also is higher than the type 1, because it is mounted with a larger control-cock unit there is possible to dismount and therfore this 3 legs are higher than the 3-legged type 1.
I put it in elektrolysis-bath, cleaned it up and painted it with Thermos-spray resistant to heat up to 600 celsius.
