This is a long wanted lamp for me - because of the look. I just love that look.
I still owe Grzegorz for this one for his help
The lamp looked awfull when I got it, but all the important things was there - I thougt
. You can see the state of arrival below on the last Photo.
The 1300 was made from the late 1940's to the mid 1950's according to Nils Stephenson.
Some Optimus 1300 is printet 300 on the tank.
This one is stil not complete, but it will. A simple thing as a screw to hold the Hood is still missing, and the correct preheater-tube which is much smaller diameter than on the other larger optimus. Some repair must also be done as the Cage is a bit Loose and a single metalring for the controlwheel is to be handcrafted.
But the lamp is very close original - with some years use on the butt. Here she is:
