Tilley named this model S.D.R. Nobody knows why, but bids are made as Special Double Reflector or Short Double Reflector. It could also be So Damn Rare, because it was expensive and was only sold in few numbers.
According to Tilley there should also exist a L.D.R. but this is never seen - so go hunt it down fellows.
Its a beautyfull looking lamp but not very practic to fire up. Ex. there is almost not place to put the preheater around the vapourizer without burning your fingers and the controlcock. It is heavy as a coffin - but looks stunning.
